World Suicide Prevention Day is Sept. 10 and was created in order to provide an opportunity for people across the globe to raise awareness of suicide and how it impacts so many.

Less than half of college students who are suffering will seek treatment. But according to Emily Piassick, director of Counseling and Psychological Services at Mercer University, that number is increasing.
Kevin Hines will be visiting Mercer on February 16th. The lecture on suicide prevention is set for 7 p.m. in Willingham Auditorium.
