Local library staff are working to bring the Macon community closer together through a love of literature at a local venue. Being exposed to new books pushes people outside of their comfort zones, allowing more interaction, development and discussion of ideas.

I have concluded that the administration of Mercer University must take steps to reduce the price of textbooks that students are required to purchase for their classes. In particular, the University must institute a price limit on the books and materials that professors make mandatory.
