For the second year in a row, Mercer Campus Life office is collaborating with the annual Cherry Blossom Festival to offer college night to students.
College night is on Thursday, March 27 this year, welcoming any student who registers for tickets with entry to the Cherry Blossom Festival at Carolyn Crayton Park.
Along with events throughout the week in downtown Macon, the festival itself is held at Carolyn Crayton Park (115 Willie Smokie Glover Drive, Macon, GA.) The festival includes fair rides, food trucks, a concert stage, games, the sea lion splash, character meet and greet for kids and more.
The grounds are open from 12-9 p.m. and each day ends with a nightly concert starting at 7 p.m.
Last year AJ the DJ brought an electrifying energy to college night, leading the crowd in line dancing, old school hits and music of every genre. This year’s college night performer is country singer Trey Odom.
Do not miss out on the opportunity to experience the Cherry Blossom Festival! This annual event is a lot of fun, is unique to Macon and is enjoyable for everyone. After enjoying college night, make sure to stop by the Food Truck Frenzy on Cherry Street on Saturday and Sunday!
