This week’s Cluster Pet of the Week is Charlie, a gray and white cat.
Charlie is 5 years old, 18 pounds, and currently resides with Anna McMahon ‘24, a resident assistant majoring in psychology with minors in environmental and general biology.
McMahon and her mom used to foster cats to the point where they adopted an "embarrassing amount.”
One of these cats was Charlie who was a part of their last foster litter and joined McMahon’s family after his brothers were adopted.
McMahon said even though he's pretty big for a cat, he’s still her “little man.”
Charlie is a chatty cat, and he likes to snuggle, so it’s hard to get up in the morning.
Some of Charlie’s pastimes are sleeping, eating, cuddling, playing with his mice toys, and socializing with the residents in Roberts Hall. McMahon said he’s a “big celebrity” there.
If you don’t see Charlie greeting his “loyal fans,” then you can find him curled up in McMahon’s lap.
