Black-owned businesses on Mercer's campus you need to buy from

Black History Month is not just for commemorating the history of Black America. This is a month of honor, allowing us to showcase the raw, intricate and prominent beauty of blackness. It’s important that within this month we acknowledge and support Black people, and one way of doing that is by supporting Black businesses. Here are five Black businesses on Mercer’s campus that you can support to give back to the community.

Chance Allen

Chance Allen ‘22 is a journalism student at Mercer who has been working for The Cluster under various roles for the past three years. Allen is a multi-hyphenate but works primarily with photo and writing. He has been working with NBC Entertainment for the entirety of this year and since becoming a journalism student he has received multiple honors and awards from the Georgia Collegiate Press Association as well as DASHBOARD. Allen spends his free time writing, creating, and being.
