Go show off your best short program performance at Ice Skating in the Park. From March 22-31 there will be a free ice skating rink in Central City Park. The rink is open to all ages and skill levels. Each group will be allowed 30 minutes on the ice from 10 a.m. to 10p.m. For more information on times go to cherryblossom.com.

2. Spring Spirit Stroll

There will be live actors along with some of Macon’s most famous gravesites. The tours will take place from 6-8 p.m. with a $10 admission. To purchase tickets go to riversidecemetary.com.

3. Ocmulgee Duck Dash

At this March 16 event, 5,000 ducks will race down the Ocmulgee River at Amerson River Park, and one lucky duck will win $1,000. The event is from 9:30 a.m to noon. Ducks can be adopted from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and the race will begin at 11:45 a.m. The race is free, and duck adoptions are $5. The proceeds will go to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor program.
