Mercer students start club basketball team amid COVID-19

Mercer University junior Kevin Kinnard was always passionate about basketball growing up, and he wanted to carry that passion with him to Mercer. COVID-19 hasn’t kept him from expressing that passion in the form of Mercer’s Club Basketball team.

Waltzing around the pandemic: Mercer Ballroom Dance Club introduces COVID-19 safety protocols

After a few weeks of meetings, the club cautiously redirected to an in-person format in late September. The shift followed discussions concerning safety protocols between club leadership and multiple university officials.

Mercer freshman establishes new service club to help local students with learning differences
