Waltzing around the pandemic: Mercer Ballroom Dance Club introduces COVID-19 safety protocols

Members of the Mercer Ballroom Dance Club practice a new dance with ample space between them and their partners due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting occurred Monday, Sept. 28 and was the club's first in-person meeting since Mercer went online in the spring.

After a few weeks of meetings, the club cautiously redirected to an in-person format in late September. The shift followed discussions concerning safety protocols between club leadership and multiple university officials. 

Try something new with one of Mercer’s arts-based clubs

The Mercer Bearitones travelled to Athens, Georgia last spring to compete in the 2016 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) quarterfinals.
